FINAL PROJECT STORYBOARD & TUTORIALS

 

This storyboard is for my final project in Motion Graphics, and I decided to create a storybook-like video centered around the Scottish myth of the Kelpie. Kelpies are Scottish water creatures that look like horses and are usually found around the shores of Lochs in Scotland. They often lure children to take a ride on their backs, and once the children are on, the Kelpie's mane tangles around them and takes them into the water where they drown and the Kelpie eats them. This story was often told to scare kids into not going where they shouldn't and to be wary of their surroundings. I want this video to have a storybook feel to it, with transitions that mimic a page being turned and illustrations that have that aesthetic. I struggled to think of a concept for this final but with this idea and more than excited to start working on it.
